With great emphasis on the penis, this figure grabs our attention immediately. "What does this mean?" we may ask. "Why has this figure been molded with his penis erect and shoulders ablaze with muscles?" Not only is this puzzling to the modern viewer, it is exciting, as well. Something tells us that he is a very special person. He has fantastic designs covering his body and face. He is quite handsome with his arched eyebrows and thick, full mouth. His nose is aquiline and his eyes are wide and proud. What is he exactly proud of? We can only imagine. Perhaps this man, like Egyptian and Greek mythologies, refers to the God of Sex. His hands and feet are painted black. His black hair is immaculately cut at the back. There is a small hole at the rear of his flat back. A peculiar hat adorns his head. This is a spectacular sculpture. It has required great skill and artistic sensitivity by the ancient artist to create such an invigorating and pure portraiture of a man. From all angles and view, it is a masterpiece of ancient art that sets new standards and values to the ingenuity and creativity of this fascinating culture. - (PF.3777)
