The registers of glyphic motifs on this stunning vase have been painted in bold, calligraphic brushstrokes. The colors are like those of the sunset--deep reds and oranges mixed with black. We can see the hand of the artist at work, and the energy with which he wielded his colorful brush still radiates from the vase. - (PF.0697)
