Description
Quietly elegant, this female sculpture shows the world the grace and charm that existed in ancient Mesoamerica. This figure, buried in a tomb represented the deceased or perhaps a loved one of the deceased. Regardless of whom the figure actually represented we are led to the conclusion that someone very important was laid to rest beside this elaborately clothed and bejeweled sculpture. - (PF.2700)
