Description
Though crafted in a lively stylized manner, we see reflected in this little figure a genuine human life. It is as if the spirit of that ancient woman who offered it as a gift had passed through the centuries in the form of this richly-dressed effigy. What we do not see directly, we have no trouble imagining in the presence of this charming piece. - (PF.0289)
