Description
Leather triangular pocket with strap and silver alloy applique mounts, including three settings, one for a green semi-precious stone (malachite?) and two for corals. The belt, was part of the normal attire of a Central Asia man. The richness of decoration denoted the status of the owner. - (MS.1187)
