| Description |
Beautifully intricate and delicate, these ancient
earrings encompass the wealth and exquisiteness
that would once have adorned the ears of an
aristocratic woman. Pyramidal in shape, each side
of the main part of the earring are decorated with
a ‘honeycomb’ of a raised series of circles.
Beneath these hang a globulated strand, popular
on earrings from this period. The large hoops
show that these earrings would have hung low in
the ear.
