Description

Beautifully executed and rare, this is a special bird that is found in Mexico, Central America and South America. It is the buzzard. It has a short neck, long, wide wings and a thick, long hooked beak. There are holes in the mouth, the nostrils and the behind where smoke from the incense may have magically filtered. The wings are gently sculpted and the beak is open. The buzzard was considered to be a protecting spirit. - (PF.4164)
