Description
This lovely pot was probably made on Cyprus before it was exported to ancient Israel filled with fine oil. The patriarchs and High Priests of the Old Testament might have used such a vessel when ritually anointing objects and people. As we place our fingers where those ancient ones lay centuries ago, we are linked directly to that distant time and place. - (PF.0125)
