Glass Vase with Marblized Iridescence - G.0137 Origin: Hebron, Israel Circa: 100

This luminous vase seems not to be made from
blown glass but rather carved from some radiant
precious gem. Though its shimmering
iridescence is the product of centuries of burial,
it seems far too beautiful not to have been
planned by some far-sighted craftsman when
Rome was at her peak. Like all rare treasures,
this vessel becomes even more so with the
passage of time.
