| Description |
The Coatimundi, a racoon like creature native to
tropical America, appears frequently in the art of
Colima, especially in talismans and amulets.
What this wonderful fellow, who clutches his
snout with his forepaws, was meant to protect
against, we are uncertain. Surely, charming as he
is, he is a safeguard against boredom and ill-
humor.
