Description
Thick crosses alternate with octagons and rectangles on this mosaic. Each shape is bordered in black, the triangles bearing thin criss-crossing black lines in the center; while the octagons have a wide border of yellow and a lovely flower dominating the center. The crosses touch four sides of the octagon with the remaining four sides bordered by rectangles with small extensions at the ends. These form their own hexagonal shape. The resulting pattern presents an illusion of objects being at different levels of perspective. This mosaic has been reconstructed using ancient and modern materials. - (PF.5307)
