| Description |
This graceful vessel perhaps sat on the
dressing table of a lady of fashion
during the flower of the classical age.
Then it may have contained fine oils or
rare perfumes to enhance the beauty of
its owner. The simple but elegant
decoration and slender shape of this
little lekythos still delight the
senses, as they no doubt appealed to its
original owner so long ago. The beauty
