Description
"This Roman portrait of an adorable young woman has a gentle facial expression, wide-set eyes and soft lips were set on her smooth and round face, the texture of marble has shown the tenderness of her skin. Her eyes are gazing upon to the sky as if she is daydreaming or let her mind flow. This is an exceptional example of this kind of busts, as most of the statues of human at that period are looking straight to the front usually. Her natural wavy long hair is wound elegantly to her back with a hair band, the volume of soft hair suggests this young lady is full of vigor. The rough finish at the back of the neck indicates that the head was meant to be set into a draped statue." - (RL.2001)
