AD Dimensions:4" (10.2cm) high Catalogue: V2 Collection: Pre-Columbian Style: Moche Medium: Terracotta
This press-molded whistle depicts a running
warrior carrying a mace and a shield. He is
splendidly arrayed and wears a fierce,
determined look. Perhaps this whistle with its
high-pierced shriek was once blown during war,
adding to the din of battle and striking fear into
the hearts of the enemy.
