Description
This charming vase is full of subtle little surprises and we have to keep turning it to fully appreciate them. The V-shaped chevrons are painted just off center from the head on both front and back. There is only one apricot stripe amongst the buff-colored ones. On the back of the man's head is a vivid little pattern. These things seem calculated to keep us just slightly off balance. As with a person, the vase holds our interest through the unexpected. - (PF.0684)
