This powerful figure is covered in a pale white
slip, which lends him an eerie ghost-like quality.
Naked save for his headband, he nonetheless
conveys a great nobility of character. The two
flower buds attached to his headband link him
with the ancient peyote cult. He is very likely
depicted in a dream-induced state associated
with the rituals of death. If only his open mouth
could speak, what tales he might tell of a strange
and exotic world! Surely the place in which he
now finds himself is more fantastic than any
magic dream.
