Description
Created as if the face appears from within the vessel to speak to you, this vessel allows the imagination to explore the endless boundaries of art. The pedestal is done in an orderly fashion, using simple registers encompassing both geometric patterns and zoomorphic figures. The vessel itself also represents the head. The face seems to slowly emerge from the head, with the use of both relief and painted motifs. Geometric patterning is carried on throughout the rest of the piece while combining variations of both linear and more fluid motifs, creating a unique work of art. - (PF.4144)
