Description
This cartonage case wears a ram-headed winged pectoral grasping the signs for eternity in its outstretched talons. The tripartite wig is surmounted by a winged deity. The wooden face has painted eyes and eyebrows, and a long columnal inscription in the front painted in blue, red, yellow, cream and black on a white background. The inscription reads-- The King gives a boom to Osiris, foremost of the West, Lord of Abydos, ruler of gods forever, that he may give eternal peace to Hotep. - (PF.0226)
