Description
The Meso-American Medusa who adorns this vase has serpent locks for hair. Her magestic demeanor alone would indicate that she is a goddess; her rounded form suggests something monumental-- a mountian or perhaps the earth herself. Her expression is haughty, a little aloof; she is not a malevolent deity, but she demands respect. - (PF.0521)
