| Description |
This elegant figure stifles a yawn as if waking up
after a sleep of many centureis. Will he be
surprised to find himself in a completely
different world? Modeled with fluid, flowing
lines, he has the solid, graceful presence of a
Henry Moore sculpture, at once abstract and yet
logical. The elaborate braided hairstyle contrasts
with the simple contours of the anatomy. A
work of great subtlety, one that somehow
transcends the ages.
