buried along with the deceased, as the tomb and
its contents symbolize a complete closure of a
time, a life, and a burial and the beginning of a
voyage into the unknown. The complete mystery
of the unknown afterlife goes hand in hand with
the abstraction in the artistic style. Today, the
mystery continues, even though we have found
the tombs and artifacts of a people long gone.
