Description
This textile piece comprises a pattern of five black circles around the edge, with each circle containing a rosette. Small black triangles complete the decoration on this area surrounding the inner black square. Within this square is a large circle presenting the image of a black lion at the center. Coptic textiles reflect the fauna and flora of the Egyptian desert, utilizing geometric shapes in combination with realistic detail to produce an effect that is both soothing and stimulating to the eye. - (PF.5304)
